Which Austin home-service brands share an owner?
A dated ownership tree shows where several familiar names converge on the same platform.

A shortlist of company names can contain fewer ownership alternatives than it first appears. In the July 26, 2026 Austin census, Fox Service Company, Precision Heating & Air and Daniel’s Plumbing & Air Conditioning trace to Southern Home Services. Radiant and Stan’s lead to different platforms and investors.
The tree is useful for tracing the counterparty behind a quote. It says nothing by itself about how branches set prices, share staff or perform work. The underlying source record preserves uncertainty about Daniel’s current-facing activity at that historical cutoff.
Method & limits
This view reproduces selected July 26, 2026 ownership chains from the retained source dataset. October page preparation is not a current ownership refresh. Brand activity conflicts and unresolved ownership remain in the downloadable source; no price, market-share or service-quality result is inferred.
Read the chain from brand to sponsor
Start at the consumer name and follow only relationships supported by the July source ledger. A platform groups businesses operationally; a sponsor can sit another level above it. A retained founder or management stake can coexist with sponsor control.
| Brand | Platform | Sponsor/controller in source |
|---|---|---|
| Fox Service Company | Southern Home Services | Gryphon Investors through the recorded holding structure |
| Precision Heating & Air | Southern Home Services | Gryphon Investors through the recorded holding structure |
| Daniel’s Plumbing & Air Conditioning | Southern Home Services | Gryphon Investors through the recorded holding structure |
| Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning | T3 Services Group | The Riverside Company |
| Stan’s Heating, Air & Plumbing | Master Trades Group | L Catterton |
Three brands can lead to one platform
The source ledger joins the Southern acquisitions to the sponsor’s holding-company investment. That produces a supported chain, not evidence that three branches coordinate quotations. Daniel’s also carries a consumer-routing/activity conflict, so a present-day customer should confirm the contracting operator before treating the historical brand as an available bidder.
The census article retains the Southern chain and citations. Each relationship has its own evidence. A visually continuous tree should not hide a missing or conflicted arrow.
Keep franchise and local ownership distinct
A franchisor’s national identity is different from ownership of the local franchisee. A shared national website is also not enough to merge two local operators. Preserve the source’s franchise flag and owner classification rather than assigning every branded network to one owner.
For the same reason, a family name or an Austin address does not independently establish local control. Use the current-ownership checking method to extend a chain beyond the July snapshot.
Use the tree when comparing the work
Identify the quoted legal entity, license holder and warranty provider. Then group the documented common owners in your shortlist. You can still choose two bids from the same platform; the point is to understand the relationship while comparing scope and terms.
The download page contains the complete 67-brand panel and 75-record intake. Keep its historical date when using the data in a later analysis. A new transaction needs a new sourced edge and effective date.
